Afterpulse was meant to be a next gen visual update of the Respawnables concept. Same gameplay and base mechanics, but with realistic visuals and a completely reworked F2P economy based on Gacha systems

While the game feels and plays pretty much like Respawnables, the use of more mature visual style and themes, and the higher CPU/GPU requirements limited the transition of the Respawnables player base to this new game. In any case, it seems to have been a decent success story, thanks to a much improved F2P monetization system

  • Animation Tool: Design and interface feedback for a technology similar to Unity's Mecanim

  • Weapon Design: Gameplay design, implementation and balancing of several game weapons, from pistols to heavy machine guns

  • Map design: 1 map built around the concept of a chaotic trainyard. Base design was meant to accommodate med-long range weapons, but finally it was redesigned for close combat gameplay
